Photography is an evil and difficult medium as I suggested in one of my comments. One of the problems with photos, this is just my opinion, is the colouring. In the real world there are colours everywhere and when a photo is taken the colours don't necessarily work in harmony with each other, there's no unity if you know what I mean. It makes them chaotic. You should try fiddling with the colours both when you take the photo and in Photoshop and keep it down to just a few hues. B&W is also good for unifying photography.

Keep experimenting and I'll post some of my photos for you to critique but make sure you get off your bum and submit some of your "traditional" - as they call it here - artpieces. I'd like to see them.

I'm trying to say something useful instead of the hollow "that's good". I appreciate honest commentary.
